Hi,
I have a 2018 Turbo Vado 3.0.
It’s generally great, but the tolerances between the battery and the frame aren’t great, and I used to have issues with the power dropping out momentarily when I rode over bumps. I think the issue was the switch/cam-thing at the top of the battery cavity – if the battery dropped down slightly, the power delivery from the motor would cut out.
When I got my bike serviced in late 2018, they installed a packer somewhere up around that switch which improved things markedly, but didn’t completely solve the issue. I stuck some packers to the bottom end of my battery to push it upwards a bit against the switch, which also seems to have helped. I now only very rarely experience a cut out in power delivery.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has come up with a more elegant or permanent fix?
Cheers
